Providing faith-based childcare since 1999

Staff

All of our staff meet screening regulations for a state licensed facility, such as criminal background checks, fingerprints, TB and medical test, and are certified by the NC Division of Child Development. All of our staff possess years of childcare experience and education. Our staff members are CPR/First Aid certified and take part in on-going childcare trainings in safety, education, and childhood development. Examples of the areas of certifications held by staff are Basic School Age Care, Sanitation, Games, Fire Safety, Early Education, Bus Driving, Playground Safety, and more. The program is routinely inspected and exceeds standards of the state of North Carolina for child care requirements, sanitation and safety, including an excellent teacher-to-staff ratio. We meet all Safe Sanctuary regulations as set forth by United Methodist Churches. The program director is responsible for all day to day operations of the program. Oak Forest United Methodist Church provides formal program oversight through a church appointed Board of Directors. The congregation offers prayerful support and encouragement to the staff and the children. Our staff's goal is to help your child have as much fun as possible in after school care and summer camp, while providing a safe, enriching, Christian environment.
